How is a ready-to-sew quilt kit different from a precut quilt kit?
Quilt kits save you a little bit of
time. They come with all the fabrics you need for a quilt design in one place,
typically cut straight off a bolt of fabric. You’ll need to cut each fabric
section into the actual shape you need for your quilt.
The Quilt Kit Co's ready-to-sew precut quilt kits take things a huge
step further: no cutting at all. Each piece arrives in the exact size you need
for your quilt. With our kits, you can start sewing pieces right out of the
box.
How are the shapes cut for a ready-to-sew quilt kit?
We cut each fabric piece to millimeter precision with a one-of-a-kind
cutting machine at our office in San Francisco. This allows us to consistently
produce identical shapes in each kit. No matter which design you order, the
pieces are made to fit together perfectly.
What’s included in a quilt kit?
All of our quilt kits include the quilt top, binding, and a printed pattern.
We also offer backing, sold separately.

We're based 9.8 miles north of San Francisco! We'd love to have you visit

How Do I Return A Product?
Is Your Fabric High Quality?
After decades of quilting and designing, we have high standards for
everything we create. To make sure our designs really pop, we use the highest
quality method for dyeing quilting fabric: screenprinting. This also prevents
colors from fading, running together, or bleeding.
Where is your fabric manufactured?
We design all of our fabrics in-house in San Francisco. Then, we partner
with the top fabric manufacturers in Japan and South Korea to source each
design. These are the same manufacturers used by the biggest names in fabric.
This includes all of our fabrics, both by the yard, and in our ready to sew
precut quilt kits.
What kind of material is our fabric?
To bring our unique designs to life, we sought out the highest quality
quilting fabric in the world: premium, soft-touch quilting cotton, made by the
manufacturers trusted by the world’s leading fabric companies. All of our
fabrics are 100% cotton with 144 thread count. They’re also easy to sew and
better at absorbing color.
Can I Cancel or Change An Order?
To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at returns@thequiltkitco.com. We
may not be able to cancel your order prior to shipping, so you may still need
to return it using ourReturns, Refunds & Exchanges page. We will send you a
prepaid shipping label via email to complete your return. We’ll issue your
refund once we receive and process your return.
